Two days of gastronomy and culture on the west coast of Ceará marked the first Terra e Mar Festival, held on October 24th and 25th at Praça Noé Praciano.

On October 24th and 25th, Icaraizinho de Amontada was the stage for an incredible experience: the first Terra e Mar Gastronomic Festival . An event that brought together flavors, people, and lots of good energy.
From the start, the festival showed its purpose – to celebrate local gastronomy and value those who make Ceará's cuisine unique and special. There were two days of programming, featuring signature dishes, cooking demonstrations, live music, art, culture, and good conversation.
The atmosphere at the event was the best that Icaraizinho has to offer: relaxed, welcoming, and full of happy people.

Flavors that connect land and sea.
The participating restaurants excelled in their dishes. There was everything from fresh fish, octopus, and shrimp, to recipes using ingredients from the Sertão region, such as cassava, sweet potato, and Brazil nuts.
Between one dish and another, you could feel the purpose of the festival: to show that the cuisine of Icaraizinho has identity and creativity.
The Cooking Show was one of the most interesting parts of the festival. On the 24th, the space transformed into a true Bar Show, run by Wesley Bruno from Cachaça Nogueira. He prepared three signature drinks with fruits, lemon, and cashew, also showcasing the artisanal cachaças that come ready to drink, including the 10/10. A light, fun, and flavorful moment.
On the 25th, Faculdade Unida took over the Cooking Show. Professor Cássia prepared an octopus vinaigrette with beans, full of texture and freshness, while Professor Arthur paired it with Pilsen and Pale Ale beers. The duo won over the audience, showing how local gastronomy can be versatile and full of personality.
Music, gatherings, and good vibes.
The soundtrack of the Terra e Mar Icaraizinho de Amontada Festival was as good as the food. Gleisinho do Acordeon, Clima do Pagode, Gelmo e Banda, Meninos do RM and Banda Brasílis entertained the audience with rhythms that catered to all tastes, ranging from forró to pagode, creating a light vibe.

An experience to remember.
Participating in this first festival was inspiring. Seeing the union between restaurants, producers, artists, and the public shows that Icaraizinho is establishing itself as a gastronomic and cultural destination.
The feedback was positive, and so I believe this was just the first edition of many to come.
